Stitch Fix: Reveal and review – October 2016

As I sit down to write this month’s review, I am reminded very much of my homeland – the UK. We are sat housebound due to the wind and rain hitting NC from Hurricane Matthew. It’s actually rather cozy and luckily for us, the stormy weather is nowhere near as bad as some places are getting right now. However, I thought I would take advantage of the rain and take some time for myself and share this month’s fall fix. This month I was very vague in my style note sharing my dismal ability to put together cute and casual fall outfits. I asked for neutral layers that might point me in the right direction and another pair of skinny jeans. I did ask Tina if I could try a new brand as my Just Black jeans are losing their shape.

So let’s see what Tina sent this month…

Liverpool Kay Skinny Jean – $88

I’ve had one pair of Liverpool jeans in past fixes which I did not like due to the legging style waistband. These however, I love! They’re ridiculously comfy and stretchy. Very tight but I think this is a good thing if I want them to stay that way. They are almost too long, and I have long legs, but better too long than too short. They also look awesome with my favorite top from this fix…

Market & Spruce Canby Faux Suede Elbow Patch Knit Top – $54

When I opened the box, I loved this top but thought it was a bit too big and was planning on sending it straight back. However, when I put it together with the jeans and one of my favorite pairs of boots, it was just too cute! It’s overpriced for what is essentially a t-shirt, but the elbow patch color, and really just the fact it has elbow patches, meant it ended up in my closet.

Market & Spruce Finlee Striped Pullover – $68

This was a really close maybe. It’s super comfy and I love how long the arms are. It looks cute with leggings and skinny jeans, and I could see myself snuggling up in this when winter comes. However, what put me off was the color and stripes. I’m not a massive fan of black on top as I think it’s too dark with my dark hair and pale skin. If it had been the exact same cut and material in a plain neutral cream color, I would have bought it immediately.

Papermoon Harni Cutout Detail Knit Top – $48

I really am not a fan of this top. Predominantly due to the color – I just do not think it suits me. At all. The cutout back is kinda cute but not really my thing. The fit is terrible. Just generally a big fat no. I also realized post photo shoot that I forgot to take off my new fitbit (which I love if nothing more than to prove to my husband why I need to go to bed at the hours I do!)

Skies are Blue Brilla Open Cardigan – $58

Every box I seem to get an item I’m really unsure on whether to keep or not. Generally it comes down to my mood that day and how the bank balance is doing. This was that piece. I could see myself wrapped up on the couch wearing this in winter. I liked the scallop cut on the front of the cardigan. The color is neutral but I felt a bit old for me. The material is soft. The length is great. Lots of positives. After I saw the photos from the shoot, I was even more tempted to keep it. In the end, I decided to send it back. Hopefully I will get a similar cut cardigan in a different color in next month’s fix instead (or I may regret my decision!).

Overall impressions:

This was an ok fix. I am content with it and think Tina did a good job on how vague my note was. I’m going to try and be a bit more specific next time. I haven’t given up on the idea of getting more casual fall layers in my next box – it’s definitely an area of my wardrobe that is a bit bare. Next month, not only am I getting a box, but my husband is also trialing the Stitch Fix men collection. I am excited about both and will be sure to share both on the blog. Be sure to check back next month for those reveal and reviews…

Stitch Fix: Reveal and Review – September 2016

It’s back to school for me and what better way to mark this time of year than a back to school fix! The kids always have new clothes, new shoes, new binders, so why not the teachers?! Well, that’s what was going through my mind when I requested this box. I asked Tina for a fix consisting of ‘professional attire’ only. I gave her some guidelines e.g. skirts and dresses need to be knee length at least. I also asked for one fitted dress. I was really pleased with my box – a couple items I really loved, including what may be my favorite Stitch Fix item to date!

So let’s see what was in this month’s fix…

Skies are Blue Rashford Lace Overlay Blouse – $58

I love the color and love the lace detailing (I seem to always get some lace which is good with me!). However, this felt way too old. I wanted to love it but it didn’t feel quite right. Plus on closer examination the fit on the back wasn’t great. It was bunching up quite a bit so definitely not worth the investment. Here it is with my favorite work pants – yoga dress pants from Betabrand. They are literally dress pants made out of yoga pant material. They look pretty smart and are ridiculously comfortable. I highly suggest you invest in a pair especially for any fellow teachers out there who might spend the day on the floor with kids.

Margaret M Rydel Knite Dress – $98

This is a really good twist on the ‘little black dress’. It’s a great length for work and the texture is a fun twist on a classic piece. The material is also really stretchy so it’s form fitting but comfortable. I requested a fitted dress and I love it. Tina suggested I pair it with a blazer and a delicate necklace and heels to complete the look. I decided to add a pop of color (I don’t like too much black as with my dark hair and pale skin it can look a bit depressing!) so I added bright pink flats (more practical for school) and a statement necklace I picked up on sale at Nordstrom Rack. It adds a bit of my personality to the outfit!

img_3647

Outfit details:

Necklace (Nordstrom Rack)

Flats (Express)

Status: Kept

Papermoon Iglesia Pleated Blouse – $48

A versatile blouse and the color works well with the two Gilli skirts I received. However, the material is not of a great quality. I can get an almost identical blouse in Express for the same price and for a better quality. Also, I happened to find the Papermoon Tulip Sleeve Blouse I got in one of my first fixes on Amazon for $20 so just stocked up on a navy one of those! A great find I found through the facebook group, ‘Stitch Fix for Less’.

Here is it paired with…

Gilli Lilith Skirt – $58

This has got to me the most comfortable pencil skirt in the history of pencil skirts. The material is like butter. If only I liked the design!!! I really thought hard about whether it was worth keeping for the feel alone but in the end decided I couldn’t look past the pattern. Boo! I hope I get another one just like it in a different pattern!

Gilli Gretchen Printed Skirt – $58

So here it is, quite possibly my favorite Stitch Fix piece to date. The moment I saw the colors and pattern I was in love. It’s lovely. Beautiful. Feminine. Delicate. Just a big yes! The tags were ripped straight off and this was in my wardrobe before I even had chance to do these photos! I paired it with the Papermoon Iglesia again, as Tina recommended. Loose tops with tight pencil skirts is becoming my ‘signature’ school outfit I think! I’m not bored of them yet!

Overall impressions:

So this fix is definitely going to take the edge of going back to school and the hectic routine our lives take when we’ve got to be out the door by 7:15am every day! At least I can look cute doing it. Another great box. I actually have no idea what I’m going to request next month…maybe some fall favorites for my favorite time of year. Until next month…

Wantable Accessories: Reveal and review – August 2016

After a month’s break from Wantable (simply because we were in the UK), I was happy to see this box of goodies arrive on my doorstep. And it seems the stylist notes are back. It’s very confusing that the last one had nothing and now I have an incredibly personalized one. While the notes may be inconsistent, the pieces they keep sending are consistently wonderful! In the note, this month’s stylist Kiley, referred to my request for pale pink jewelry and a nude clutch I made a few months back, and she delivered spectacularly!

Here’s what turned up…

Rae Necklace Silver – Retail price: $17.00 Wantable price: $6.51

LOVE! My favorite item this month by far! This is just the cutest statement necklace I now own. And for a ridiculously cheap $6.51. I honestly have no idea how they get prices this cheap for such good pieces. I love this necklace. It’s so girly and the color is perfect – champagne is the description they give it. Sublime!

Janice Earrings Silver – Retail price: $17.00 Wantable price: $6.51 (Top row in the picture)

Another beautiful pair of studs. These earrings feature a rhinestone border with an opaque white stone. A really versatile pair.

Raee Earrings Silver – Retail price: $14.00 Wantable price: $5.36 (Bottom row in the picture)

Now these are clearly the matching set of earrings for the necklace, so I will overlook what must be a typo in the name. Needless to say they are super cute. The pricing is again confusing – how these are only $1 less than the necklace bamboozles me (but I’m not complaining here!).

FullSizeRender[4]

Status: Both kept

Naomi Bracelet Silver – Retail price: $19.00 Wantable price: $7.28

This is a cute cuff bracelet. I’m amazed it’s more expensive than some of the other items as I think it’s the worst quality. The cuff is adjustable which means people with skinny wrists like myself can actually wear it. However, the adjustable nature of it means I don’t think it’s going to last long as it will easily become misshapen. It’s not worth returning really so I am keeping it.

Brooklyn Wallet Tan – Retail price: $27.00 Wantable price: $10.34

My bonus 5th item! I love this little wallet which could easily double up as a clutch. If I was being picky, I’d love it to have a wrist strap just so it could transition to evening more easily. However, it’s a neutral color and I can see it getting a lot of use.

Overall impressions:

Another great box from Wantable worth a whopping $94! I’m impressed that they went back to a request I made a few months back. Everything I have been receiving has fitted my style perfectly. I think I am going to have to skip next month simply because I’m getting a bit swamped in accessories as I keep everything!

Until next time…

Stitch Fix: Reveal and Review – July 2016

It’s been a while since I received a fix as I postponed my July box until this week due to spending three weeks in UK visiting family. We had a fabulous, albeit exhausting, trip but it was lovely to come home, brightened somewhat by my July fix arriving only a few days later. Through being away on vacation, I didn’t spend a whole lot of time on my Pinterest board or writing my note to my stylist. I asked for a romper and a dress for work, and if possible the Loveappella Zola dress (which I’ve since found out you can just buy at Nordstrom!) so my stylist had a little less to work with. Nevertheless, she did a fabulous job.

Here’s what came in July….

Gilli Trista Faux Wrap Jersey Dress – $68

This is my fourth Gilli dress and I am yet to be disappointed. While the pattern is a little more mature than I would normally go for, the color, style, fit and length are perfect for school. For those reasons, this dress is a keeper and I know I will wear it loads. Maybe a more mature dress isn’t a bad idea either!

IMG_3527    IMG_3532

Dex Jaeson Romper – $68

I asked for a fun romper for date night and my stylist Tina delivered. She also mentioned in her note how hot it gets in South Carolina so she knew this would be perfect for the weather. Yes – spot on again Tina! However, despite this, and the fact that I think it does look quite cute on, I could not escape the thought that I was going out in my underwear/pyjamas! I think it’s the fact it doesn’t have sleeves and is so lightweight, it feels like there’s not much there! That’s a deal breaker for me so sadly, it’s going back. I paired this romper with a cuff bracelet and a pair of cute sandals (per Tina’s instructions!).

Bracelet (It was a gift – I have no idea where from!)

Darrah Gladiator Sandals (Dolce Vita)

Loveappella Vinson Knit Wrap Dress – $74

So this dress was sent to me because the Zola dress I asked for wasn’t in stock and it’s similar. I don’t really like it to be honest and I thought the price was really expensive for the quality of the product. It was very flimsy and really just nothing special. Will hold out for a Zola (or buy it at Nordstrom – more likely).

Moon and Sky Harmen Crochet Trim Detail Knit Top – $54

When I took this top out of the box, I sighed. It looked like another ill-fitting, much too large, top that I loved the look of but expected not to fit. Well, it is a bit big, but it’s actually really flattering and comfy on. While it’s loose, it’s loose in all the right places and, consequently, looks lovely on. This was a pleasant surprise. The colors, pattern and crochet detailing are really feminine which suit me down to a tee.

Just Black Adorra Skinny Jean – $88

Mint jeans!!! I had requested some ages ago and then kinda gave up. What a surprise to see this gorgeous pop of color when I opened my box. My first impressions was OMG these are seriously green! Like very green! Like in your face, can’t escape the glare, need to put some shades on green! I was a little hesitant to be honest. I love color but this much on my legs felt odd. So I took to facebook to seek some advice. The compliments started rolling in (thanks ladies!) and I started playing around with what I could style them with. This was SO much fun. By the end of the fashion show, I knew there was no way these were going back. Here’s some of the outfits I put together. Let me know your favorite in the comments below!

Overall impressions:

Wow – what a fabulous fix! It was close to being a 5/5 again and I really love some of the items this month. I can’t wait for the weather to cool down here so I can rock those jeans, although I can wait for school to return to wear the dress! For my next fix, I have asked for ‘professional attire only’ and have been very ambiguous – no specific things listed. I can’t wait to see what Tina comes up with! Until next month…

Wantable Accessories: Reveal and Review – June 2016

So it seems Wantable style notes are a thing of the past! That being said, this month brought some cute items and versatile pieces that I can see myself wearing regularly.

Here’s what turned up…

Lorna Sunglasses – Retail (who knows – this has disappeared too!) Wantable price: $9.45

I think I’ve got enough sunglasses having received three pairs now! However, these are another great pair with a simple tortoise frame. I like the 50s style shape – it’s a bit different but also very classy.

IMG_4059

Bailey Watch Mint – Wantable price: $10.55

I LOVE this watch. The color is gorgeous and very ‘in’ right now. The actual dials and shape of the face is very stylish. The glass part by the digits is transparent which is a cool feature and gives it quite a modern feel. The only bad thing about this watch is, at present, it doesn’t work. I’m pretty sure that’s just a case of getting a battery put into it and I just haven’t got round to doing that. It’s worth the gamble as it’s so pretty.

FullSizeRender[2]

Nicky Necklace Silver – Wantable price: $9.82

Another fabulous statement necklace from Wantable. This is great, as being predominantly silver in color, it is more versatile than some of the other statement pieces I’ve received. The necklace features clear stones and metal tassels. It’s a keeper!

FullSizeRender

Jan Necklace Silver – Wantable price: $6.18

This is the only ‘meh’ piece in my opinion in the box. I’m not overly blown away by it on first impressions but the simple style of the necklace, and the fact that I could really do with a new pendant style necklace after my three year old just snapped my favorite one, means I’m keeping it.

Overall impressions:

Another great box from Wantable. The only criticism I really have is that the service seems to be getting increasingly less personal. For example, in this box, there is no copy of the style note I made, nothing at all from the stylist, and now bizarrely, they have removed the retail prices too. I don’t really understand the latter especially as it actually says the total value is $99. It makes me think it’s a mistake. However, even that shouldn’t happen. It makes me a little nervous about how personalized these boxes are, but while they’re still sending stuff I love, I’m happy to keep it up for another month. Watch this space!

Stitch Fix: Reveal and Review – June 2016

Summer has finally arrived and we are roasting in 90+ degree heat here in Charlotte although the summer months also brought some bright colors and fun outfits to this month’s fix. It wasn’t my favorite fix but partly due to a few complaints I had with individual items as opposed to the overall style of the box.

So let’s see what Tina sent this month…

Dolce Vita Davina Metallic Thong Sandal – $59

These are my second pair of Stitch Fix shoes and I really love these (like the last pair). The yellow is right up my street and would brighten up an outfit with a pop of color. My issue with these shoes – and why I’ll be sending them back – the price. Stitch Fix are charging $59 for them. I found them on Amazon for $35. That’s a huge mark up. Unfortunately I couldn’t get a price match because they weren’t in the same color on Amazon. I’m not particularly happy with that aspect of Stitch Fix. I won’t be requesting shoes anymore from them as both pairs have been overpriced. However, on the plus side, I just ordered a different pair of Dolce Vita sandals from Amazon!

IMG_3200

Status: Returned

Market and Spruce Ralphie Romper – $64

I love this romper. Normally rompers are really short on me because I have long skinny legs. This one was a great fit. Very comfy and flattering around the stomach – great for my mummy tummy! My stylist suggested I pair it with the yellow sandals. I did and loved the pop of color. Black and yellow is a favorite color combination of mine.

ARATTA Simmaron Cut Out Back Top

Well clearly this top is WAY too small. It’s the first time that’s been an issue (see the next top for the opposite problem – both the same size!). It’s also just a bit weird. I see why my stylist sent it. It’s similar to the pattern on the Fate maxi dress I kept last month. However, the colors and super weird cut out back are really not my style. So this one’s a no!

Papermoon Argus Lace Detail Knit Top

I love the style and color of this top so much. Bright pink is another one of my favorite colors and the lace detailing on the top is gorgeous. BUT, the material is of a poor quality and felt like it had already begun to lose its shape. It is also much too large for me. Again, another Stitch Fix sizing issue. If their XS tops are this big, they really need to offer an XXS. I wouldn’t even get XS in any normal stores so I wonder how the women out there slimmer than me cope. A real shame but I have no choice but to return it.

Bishop + Young Flin Kimono – $54

While I hadn’t explicitly asked for a kimono in this fix, I was secretly hoping for one! This kimono was beautiful. The material as soft as silk and the fit was good. The only reason I didn’t keep it was the colors. I don’t really own much orange and really struggled with working out what to put with this. It did however confirm in my mind that a kimono is missing in my life so have since purchased a mint one on Amazon!

Overall impressions:

An interesting box this month. While I only kept one item, this felt very much my style. In fact, if nothing else, it gave me lots of good ideas for my own wardrobe and inspired some Amazon purchasing (although I’m sure Stitch Fix would rather that didn’t happen!). Until next time…

Wantable Accessories: Reveal and review – April 2016

I absolutely LOVED my very first Wantable accessories collection (you can read the review here) so was eagerly awaiting my second. I requested chunky jewelry in spring colors, ideally pale pink, bracelets, and a pair of glamorous sunglasses…

Here’s what turned up…

Maureen Sunglasses in Grey Leopard – Retail: $17  Wantable price: $9.71

These are funky glasses. At first, I automatically assumed they were ‘too cool’ for me and feared I wouldn’t be able to ‘carry them off’. Well, to be honest, I still think they are ‘too cool’ and I don’t know if I ‘carry them off’ but I wear them anyway! I love them! Plus for just under $10, what’s to lose?!

Elyse Bracelet – Retail: $17  Wantable price: $9.71

A really delicate and pretty bracelet. I just can’t wear these as they just fall off my weird, skinny wrists.

Nala Bracelet – Retail: $18  Wantable price: $10.29

This definitely fits my request – chunky jewelry and bracelets – seeing as it’s both! However, like the Elyse bracelet, it’s just too big for my wrists. However, I love the design and think it would be a really versatile piece to have in my jewelry collection.

Lizzie Necklace – Retail: $18  Wantable price: $10.29

This was a necklace that I ummed and ahhed over for ages. I love the color and design. In the end, I decided to return it as I couldn’t quite handle the fact one dangly bit was longer than the others. Kinda crazy of me but I know I’d be annoyed with it!

Overall impressions:

Another great collection. While I only kept the funky sunglasses (which I’ve been wearing constantly!), I consider this box a success as it was just my style. A few sizing issues and some fussiness from myself was all that prevented it from being a 4/4. I can’t wait for next month!

Stitch Fix: Reveal and Review – April 2016

During spring break we had a fabulous week in Orlando with our family. It was wonderful. What was not so wonderful was the 12 hour painfully slow drive home. However, the misery of sitting in a car for so long with a toddler and baby was soon forgotten when we pulled into the drive and saw my Stitch Fix box on the porch 2 days early! To top it off, it was very nearly a 5/5.

Let’s see what was inside…

Pixley Kornelia 2fer Textured Knit Dress – $74

I LOVE this dress so much! It’s perfect for date nights and is a great balance of young and sexy (love the neckline and tight bottom) and age appropriate! I requested all dresses and skirts in this box but other than that, was fairly vague. This was one of the reasons I love Stitch Fix – a complete surprise and now a much loved inclusion in my wardrobe.

Loveappella Clarabella Lace Detail Maxi Skirt- $58

I love the lace detailing cut out. My stylist said it was very ‘chic and on-trend’. I don’t know if it’s ‘on-trend’ but it’s very me! However, it is just a little too tight and I like my maxi skirts to be a bit brighter as I tend to wear them with plain t-shirts as you can see from how I’ve styled this outfit. It was a hard decision on whether to keep this but in the end, the waist band had the final say!

Le Lis Cecilia Zipper Detail Aline Skirt – $58

I love the pale yellow of this skirt. I have tons of this color pinned on my Pinterest board so clearly my stylist looked. My stylist also recommended I pair it with a feminine blouse. I tried it with last month’s Skies are Blue Henley blouse and I wasn’t loving it. My husband said I looked like a 80s receptionist. Hmmmm. So I tried again with the Papermoon blouse from Fix#6. This looked much better. I love pale yellow and black – it’s a winning color combination in my opinion. Anyway, I decided against keeping this as didn’t love the fit/length on me. Plus it was super see-through (never good for high school teachers!).

The minute I tried it on, I fell in love and actually wore it out to dinner the next day! It’s flattering, beautiful quality and the colors are fab! LOVE!!!!

Overall impressions:

This was my second with my new stylist Tina and I will be requesting here from now on. It was such a great fix. While I only kept two items, all five were so close to my style and Pinterest boards, that to me, it was a success. That’s what I’m looking for in Stitch Fix and they delivered. Plus I now have two gorgeous dresses for date nights!

Wantable Accessories Collection: Reveal and review – March 2016

So those of you who have followed the blog for a while may remember that I have had two unsuccessful wantable style edits and one wantable fitness edit (slightly more successful). I’ve since cancelled those subscriptions – the style edits were nowhere near as good as Stitch Fix and I just don’t work out enough for a monthly fitness fix! However, I have always liked the company so this month I thought I would trial the accessories collection. BEST. DECISION. EVER.

So the accessories collection, like the style and fitness edits, works on a monthly subscription basis. Each month you pay $40 (or $36 if you kept everything the previous month) and receive 4-5 stylist accessories straight to your door. Just like the style and fitness edits, you complete an online profile first which allows you to specify what you love, like and dislike (you’ll only ever receive items you like or love) along with colors, styles, and sizes (e.g. necklace length). You also have the chance to leave a note for your stylist what what you would like this month (or an ongoing general note).

For my first ever collection, I requested jewellery in spring colors – coral, pale pink/rose gold, mint/turquoise, or yellow. I said I would prefer necklaces and bracelets and would love some glamorous sunglasses.

Here’s what turned up this weekend…

IMG_3789

Nancy Necklace – Retail: $36  Wantable price: $14.26

OMG – I love this necklace SO much! It literally could not be more perfect! The colors are stunning and EXACTLY what I was looking for. Perfectly perfect!!!

A stunning set of earrings which coincidentally is a perfect color and style match for the Nancy necklace. Loved them the minute I opened the box!

Jenny Necklace Long Silver – Retail: $17  Wantable price: $6.73

A delicate necklace featuring a hammered metal vertical bar design. Simple but stylish. I can see me wearing this a lot to add a pretty detail to plain tops and sweaters.

Overall impressions:

I LOVE Wantable accessories! They make the Stitch Fix jewellery look seriously overpriced in comparison (I’ll be removing that from my style profile ASAP). The quality of each item was superb and amazing for the price. I love every item and will definitely be keeping this subscription going. I can’t wait to see what April brings.

Stitch Fix: Reveal and Review – March 2016

March brought my ‘replacement fix’ after two complete flops (read January 2016 and February 2016 reviews here). After emailing back and forth with customer service, I updated my style profile, tweaked my Pinterest board and left an INCREDIBLY detailed and specific style note for my new stylist.

Here is the result…

Dex Ramuz Lace Back Blouse – $54

So in my stylist note, I specified my love for both pink, florals and lace – well this has all three! I really liked this top. It’s young, the zipper detail down the front makes it feel quite ‘trendy’ and the floral pattern is cute – all the things I love. The lace detailing down the back makes it a bit more ‘sexy’ and ‘edgy’. The only reason I’m returning this is it’s a little too big and the cut out lace back means I can’t wear it to work which means it just won’t get enough use for the $54 price tag. Here is it paired with my next item…

Level 99 Giovanni Straight Leg Jean – $108

A fabulous pair of white jeans! They are super comfy and I could tell great quality too from the moment I slipped them on. However, I am returning these due to the fact that I already have a great pair of skinny white jeans. They are also a little too big round the ankles (a constant problem of mine with skinny jeans).

Kut From The Kloth Piere Faux Leather Jacket -$108

In my note, I said how much I love mint color that is around this spring. I specifically wanted mint skinny jeans but my stylist informed me they are currently not in stock in my size. However, she did send this gorgeous mint faux leather jacket as an alternative. I love the color, love the style and love how it fits, but I just can’t justify the price tag especially on something that may not be ‘in style’ next spring. Here it is paired with the skinny jeans from this fix.

Collective Concepts Katelynn Printed Dress – $78

Another great way I could mix n match this fix was to pair this dress with the Kut From The Kloth faux leather jacket (as suggested by my stylist). I don’t think I would have thought of this myself but it seems to work! The dress is cute – the pattern and style is feminine, and the material is very soft. However, I don’t think this fit is particularly flattering on me. It may have looked better if I sized down but it definitely makes me look a bit bigger than I am.

Skies are Blue Grindewald Henley Blouse – $54

In my note, I requested a fitted white blouse that could be paired with skirts for work. My stylist told me that while this was not fitted, she thought I’d love it. Well I do! Classic, neutral, pretty detailing of the stripes on the sleeves, versatile, this top is great! I’ve already worn it and received several compliments so it’s a keeper! Here it is paired with my favorite Stitch Fix jeans…

Overall impressions:

So while I only kept one item from this box, I consider it a success as so much was very close! My new stylist clearly paid attention to my note, Pinterest board and style profile, as everything that was sent I could see myself wearing. I also liked how so much could be mixed and matched. This often doesn’t happen with Stitch Fix but when it does, it’s fab! It’s probably a good thing this fix wasn’t perfect as even with the keep 5 discount, this box would have cost me $281.50 to keep it all. Stitch Fix have redeemed themselves. It shows how much difference a good stylist makes and the importance of being very specific with your profile. Here’s to next month!
